Where it’s used
SSH, Remote Screen and the Editor turn a hotel desk and its monitor into a workstation.
Video from the web or your files, full screen at the TV’s resolution.
PDFs, pages and photos on the projector, with the iPhone in your hand.
Cloud games on the TV with an Xbox, PlayStation or Switch Pro controller.
How it works
Plug your iPhone into a monitor, TV or projector with a USB‑C cable or an HDMI adapter. Or use AirPlay: Control Center › Screen Mirroring, then your TV or Mac.
At the display’s own resolution, with the windows you left there last time.
The desktop · Free
Windows, a Dock and a menu bar, at the display’s full resolution. The shortcuts you know work, and each menu shows them.
Move, resize, minimize and zoom them. Drag one to an edge or a corner for half or a quarter of the display, or tile it with ⌃⌥ and the arrows. ⌃⌘F puts a window in full screen, and ⌘` cycles through them.
Your apps, and folders beside the Trash. A click on a folder fans out its newest items, with Open in Files.
The front app’s menus in the menu bar, every shortcut beside its command. Secondary-click menus everywhere, and a quick preview of any file.
⌘Space, or the magnifying glass on the iPhone, finds apps, recent items, files, settings and menu commands. Type an address to open it, or words to search the web.
Clock, Batteries, Downloads and Up Next, wherever you put them. Banners at the top right, and the earlier ones a click on the clock away.
Windows, tabs and the page of each PDF come back the next time you connect.
From Larger text to More Space. A new resolution goes back by itself after 15 seconds unless you keep it.
When the iPhone rings, a banner says so and video pauses until the call ends. The Sound menu sets the volume and shows where sound goes.
Apps
8 are free. Attracco Pro adds the workstation: SSH, Remote Screen, the Editor, the Assistant, Calendar and the Command Line.
The web at desktop size, on WebKit.

Read, mark up, fill in and sign.
Your iPhone’s photo library, on the big screen.
Everything about the desktop, in one place.
What’s running, and what it costs.

Every request and Attracco’s own log, in one stream.
A terminal on your Mac or server.
Another computer’s screen, in a window.

--json shows what a program getshelp written from the commands themselves, and ⌃Cscript.run: Python 3.14 with numpy, pandas and matplotlib, or JavaScript, with no networkssh user@host turns the window into a terminal on that computerevents watch and log tailText and code, in tabs.
Every calendar your iPhone syncs.
With no display
With no display connected, the iPhone shows the same files, PDFs, computers and Assistant on its own screen, sized for the phone and used by touch.
Sort, search, rename, duplicate, compress, share and trash. Add from the Files app or your photo library.
Highlight in five colors, underline, add notes and text boxes, fill in forms and sign.
The terminal fills the phone, with a key bar for Esc, Control, Tab and the arrows.
Ask with the iPhone’s keyboard and follow its calls; Allow or Don’t Allow shows under the call that waits.
Connect a display and it moves there, as it was: the PDF at the same page, the terminal with its scrollback, the conversation where it is.
Input
It types wherever the display has focus, and Paste sends the iPhone’s clipboard there. Over the Command Line it adds Tab, ⌃C, the arrows and a row of suggestions.
A hardware keyboard works directly. A Bluetooth or USB mouse works once AssistiveTouch is on.
Turn the trackpad sideways, as wide as a laptop’s. Speed, scrolling, tap to click and the pointer’s size are yours to set, and the welcome lets you practice first.
Moves the page in front to the phone for anything that needs a real touch, such as some sign-ins.
An Xbox, PlayStation, Switch Pro or MFi controller paired with the iPhone plays in the page in front, for cloud gaming, with rumble. Settings lists them with their batteries.
Privacy
There is nothing to sign up for. Your files stay on your iPhone and in the places you add, and Delete All Data clears what Attracco keeps.
The Assistant, sites and programs ask before they see or change anything. Settings shows every request of the last 30 days.
Passwords, SSH keys, API keys and your signature are kept in the iPhone’s Keychain.
Attracco counts which features are used, never what you type, open, browse or ask. It’s on at first; turn it off in Settings › Privacy on the iPhone.
